Really Awesome Bond Chases
There have been some really good Bond chases across the franchise history from car to boat and foot to plane but here are the best of the best.
Goldeneye- Tank
Well I think it is best to start off with my personal favourite, the tank chase in Goldeneye. This was a fantastic chase scene that went through the streets of Russia with bond behind the wheel of a tank. Was this the first time that Bond had actually gotten behind something like a Tank, something that had the potential to kill a lot of people. The only real reason that this one is my favourite is because I could in fact watch it over and over again as a child, I will add that Sean Connery is the best Bond ever.
Casino Royale- Madacascar
The reason that this was done was to show off Craig for the first time, they did this well and it turned into a great film. This is a brilliant scene and after being discovered Bond chases a bomver across the streets and jumps over buildings and even jumps off the end of a crane. This scene ends rather spectacularly with an explosion within an embassy landing Bond in bit of trouble just after he is given his 00 license.
Goldfinger
This is the classic on the list and my favourite one from the Connery era. This one features a guy throwing a hat and killing someone, smokescreen’s, ejector seats and a machine gun firing granny! Surely these things alone make it a fantastic chase scene! This was a great scene for a old movie and Bond is close to death in this one.
The World Is Not Enough- Thames
Many people think that this is the only really good scene in the movie and felt that the writers had started to lose it a bit when it came to this film. I have to say the only film I didnt really like was Die Another Day, that was just stupid and was very badly written. However the Thames boat chase was really great and featured everything a great chase should have in it, machine guns and a diving boat.
It has to be said that the next Bond scene will be one to watch as they now have the really big budget on them thanks the the franchise being put back on track after the poor Die Another Day.
So although it isn’t likely that we are going to see bond go out and get large van lease the next Bond chase could be a cracker. He must have bad credit car leasing.
